2.) If one of us hit it off well with the third party and the other one didn't, that's okay: we trust each other.
3.) No staying the night unless the other explicitly says it's good.

With a whole lot of reassurance. The two of us have been through a lot, but we're always working at reminding each other that we trust each other wholeheartedly. In cases where it's obvious that one thing just isn't going to work out, we both agree to stop doing it.

Constantly talking about things instead of hiding them has done us a lot of good too.

Well that sounds lovely. You mentioned LA earlier. Is that not Los Angeles then?

So you initially had a strong base coming in here? I can imagine that helps because you're already secure in the person, not still getting to know them on a fundamental level. That and this place lends itself to multiple partners.

Except I don't want to hurt anyone or make it awkward. Some of my friends don't have an easy time and/or much experience with intimacy, so I'm helping them gain confidence. They're good people and I've grown to care for them.

I've been in LA about seven months. It's easier to tell people that than I grew up in a hell dimension. In a lot of ways, LA isn't much better.

It really does help - in fact, I'll have to say that it's essential. You absolutely, positively have to believe in each other, and you both have to constantly work at making the relationship work. It's worth it in the end if being with somebody really is your bid in life. It isn't for everyone.

That said, it's good that you're doing that. I just hope that you're also trying to watch out for yourself.

I don't really exist on Earth. Time passed faster in Quor'toth, they figure seventeen years in just a few months. I'm not even a year old according to my birth certificate. And who's got time for a real job?

We're having an apocalypse. It's endless night, demons declared open season on humanity... keeps me pretty busy.
